Old world, renewed power! Dive into Veren with the upcoming Clash of Beasts: Awakening update and check out the changes on one of the vital parts of the game – the defensive towers.
Unlocking Towers
With the Clash of Beasts: Awakening update, all players will start with a completely fresh base with only the Razor Tower unlocked as a starting tower. New towers will be discovered as you progress through the Campaign map!
This update will see a total of six different reworked towers, with more towers coming in future updates!
Tower Stats and Abilities
Similar to beasts, towers will utilize a variety of customizable stats in Clash of Beasts: Awakening. In addition, each tower will have a basic attack and a tower ability to allow more interesting strategic setups for your defenses.
Tower Modification
Modifications are equipment for your towers. Each tower has four modification slots, and each slot is for a specific modification. With the variety of modifications available in Clash of Beasts: Awakening, the customization is endless!
Every modification has a different primary stat. The values of these stats also vary with the modification’s star rating. Rarity dictates the amount of substats a modification has. Example: a common modification will have no substats, while a mythic modification will have maximum of four substats. Star Rating dictates the quality of stats. Example: a one-star modification can give the tower a boost of 20 HP, while higher modifications can give more.
Upgrading and Scavenging Towers
Towers are upgraded using the new game resource, Supplies. Created in the Workshop, this resource cannot be stolen. To increase your tower’s max level, you need to upgrade your Tactician’s Hut (previously known as the Architect’s Study). You can build as many towers of each type, provided you have the tower unlocked. As with the old Veren, upgrading tower still takes time. Scavenging towers will still be an option in Clash of Beasts: Awakening.
Alignment of Towers
Other than improving your tower stats, having at least three modifications of the same affinity align the tower. Example: equipping three modifications of Vorm affinity on a tower makes it a Vorm tower.
